A short flag raising ceremony will take place at the Town Hall, Market Square, Witney, OX28 6AG on Monday 12th March 2018 at 10am to mark Commonwealth Day 2018. The running order of the event is as follows
9.50AM: Reading of the Commonwealth Affirmation.
9.55AM: Reading of the message from the Commonwealth Secretary-General.
10.00AM: Raise the Commonwealth Flag.

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Ducklington, Unnamed Road to Curbridge – Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 14 August 2017
Coming into force: 17 August 2017
This Order is being introduced because of carriageway maintenance work which is anticipated to take 3 weeks to complete.
The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding or waiting in the whole length of the unnamed road from the A415 Ducklington westwards to Curbridge.
Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road.
The alternative route for traffic is via the A4095 Bampton Road, Thorney Leys, A415 Ducklington Lane and vice versa.
This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner.
