Are you an experienced hospitality professional who enjoys delivering excellent customer service in a friendly, community-focused environment?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at the 1863 Café & Bar, located within the Corn Exchange, Witney. This varied role offers far more than a typical café position, with the opportunity to work across a wide range of events including theatre performances, live music, private functions and weddings, alongside your regular café shifts. You’ll also provide bar service at occasional private events held at Burwell Hall.
We’re looking for someone with previous experience in a café, bar, hospitality or customer service environment who is confident, approachable and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
As you become established in the role, you’ll have the opportunity to take on additional responsibility by leading occasional shifts in the absence of management. Full training and support will be provided, with enhanced pay arrangements discussed at interview.

- Previous experience in a café, bar, hospitality or customer service role

- The ability to work confidently in a busy environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and events
