Full Time 37 hours per week – £18,746 to £20,661 per annum
Witney Town Council currently has an opportunity available for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join its small team.
Ideally you should have a trade but can also be a general all-rounder with a positive can-do attitude. Duties will include maintenance of the Council’s buildings, play areas, street furniture, Country Park, cemeteries which will include grave digging. If you can turn your hand to anything and work without supervision then this post may be for you!
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and be multi-skilled, with good knowledge of Health & Safety. There will be a high degree of customer contact particularly working in the Cemeteries so excellent customer care and communication skills are a necessity.
