A recent temporary change in legislation brought about by the Covid-19 outbreak has allowed local councils to meet remotely for the first time. This enables them to continue to take decisions that allow them to function and provide continuity in their delivery of services.
As a result, we are making history in the town with our first Virtual Annual Town Council Meeting at which our new Mayor will be elected.
