1. NOMINATION PAPERS
Nomination Papers may be obtained from the offices of the Returning Officer, Council Offices, Woodgreen, Witney, Oxon, OX28 1NB on Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
2. DELIVERY OF NOMINATION PAPERS
Nomination Papers must be delivered to the (Deputy) Returning Officer, at the Electoral Services Office, Council Offices, Woodgreen, Witney, Oxon, OX28 1NB, on any day after the date of this notice, on Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, but no later than 4pm on Thursday 9 April 2026.
3. WHERE any election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday 7 May 2026.
4. APPLICATIONS TO REGISTER TO VOTE
Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer no later than midnight on Tuesday 21 April 2026.

5. APPLICATIONS TO VOTE BY POST OR PROXY
- New applications to vote by post or to cancel or amend an existing postal or proxy vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 21 April 2026.
- Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
- New applications to vote by proxy must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Wednesday 29 April 2026.
- Applications can be made online: www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote
- Applications to vote by emergency proxy on grounds of physical incapacity or for work/service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Thursday 7 May 2026.

6. APPLICATIONS FOR A VOTER AUTHORITY CERTIFICATE
Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Tuesday 29 April 2026.
