‘£50 for Fifty’ Witney Town Council Grant-aid Scheme

‘£50 for Fifty’ Witney Town Council Grant-aid Scheme
To celebrate its 50th Anniversary this year, Witney Town Council is making fifty grants of £50 available to small Witney groups as it recognises the value of these smaller community groups and organisations.
Although a modest amount, it is intended to be wide-reaching and meaningful to these groups who could use it for books or other small pieces of equipment which often fall outside the remit of other grant schemes and awards.
Cllr Joy Aitman, Chair of the Town Council’s Policy, Governance and Finance Committee said, “ Witney has many small groups that do amazing things in our town. We wanted to recognise them by offering our £50 for 50 grants. It is easy to apply for and we are so excited to find out how you will use it. “
There is a simple application form and criteria for the grants which can be found on the Town Council’s website here https://www.witney-tc.gov.uk/services/grants/
