Consultations- Splash Park & MUGA/MUSA

Our other mission at the Carnival was to begin the process of consultation with residents on future improvements to the splash park and the provision of a MUGA and a MUSA
What are MUGA and MUSAs?

MUGA stands for ‘multi use games area’ and MUSA is ‘multi use social area’ so whether you like to be sporty and active in the park, or whether you prefer to socialise and relax you can select items that appeal to you. Maybe you like to do both. Ralegh Crescent Park will be retaining its recently refurbished play area and getting a MUGA and MUSA so that it appeals to all ages.
We took some boards with graphics to the carnival and used a very quick and easy method to gather data from everyone including small children.
We asked people to pop a sticker on the items they liked most. We colour coded our stickers for the MUGA, MUSA so that the data was sorted according to age groups as it’s important to differentiate between what appeals to each.
There will be a further opportunity for face to face consultation and we will publish those details once that is arranged. In the meantime you can take the same surveys online using the links below. If multiple people in your household want to take our surveys, that’s ok too, we want to hear from everyone that might use them.
