Grants

Do you have a particular project or event which would benefit from additional funds or equipment that you would like to purchase?

Witney Town Council awards  discretionary grants to local community organisations working within the town to assist them with what they do, help fund the purchase of new equipment or help with a particular event or activity. It also considers discretionary subsidised hire requests for the letting of its venues.

Applications for discretionary grant funding or subsidised use of recreation grounds or public halls are considered by the council Policy, Governance & Finance Committee. A copy of the criteria that applications are judged on is available in the Grant Aid Policy – 2025-26

This grant scheme aims to address any gaps in services, provide new ones, and encourage participation in a variety of activities.

Applications for a grant are open until 12 noon on Friday 27th June 2025 and will be considered by the Council in July. Information and criteria for the scheme is available here: WTC Youth Services Grant Criteria – 2025-26docx.
