Due to the nature of the lake and its unpredictable depths and instability of the banks, Swimming/paddling is not permitted anywhere in the lake.
- Use the quarter mile markers to measure your walk or run around the lake.
- Use the information points and rubbing boards to discover more about the nature surrounding you.
- Take a break picnic by the lakeside. We have accessible picnic benches so that everyone can join in.
- There are dozens of species of birds around including Snipe after which one of our meadows is named. How many can you spot?
